  12. communications on its 167 MB per second EMC bus.  IBC has optimized SCO UNIX
  13. to take advantage of its intelligent SCSI disk controller.  Serial I/O,
  14. networking, and communications are also done with intelligent sub-systems with
  15. slave processors.  With the main I/O overhead removed from the main processor,
  16. the XL can support more users and run them faster than other systems available
  17. for SCO UNIX.
